Comment Policy

Comments should be respectful towards other commentators and myself, disagreement is valid, as is constructive criticism.  Abuse, derailing and tone arguments (as examples) are not and will not be published.

As owner of this blog I reserve all rights to delete comments and to refuse to accept comments.  Strangely this does not restrict your freedom of speech, you are able to write your comments in your own blog if you like.  This is my space, and just like my home, it should be safe for me.

I have started blocking IP addresses from places that have spammed this blog more than once.  If you get a message stating that you cannot comment because your IP is blocked, that’s because that IP address has spammed me more than once in the past.  If you are a genuine commenter, then please do the following:

  • Run a spy-ware detecting program such as Ad-Aware, Windows Defender, Spybot S&D, etc
  • Run a virus scan, software available from: AVG, or Avast!
  • Email me with reasons why your IP address should not be blocked, and confirmation that you’ve undertaken the above steps at: rebecca [dot] dominguez [at] gmail [dot] com (and yes, that’s so I don’t get spammed – you know what to do)
  • Then I may remove your IP address from my blacklist.

So... what do you think?
